Odor Note
- A faint odor from the ABS plastic when you unpack the detector is normal after transport and packaging, and is not a quality defect.
- Take the detector out of the packaging and give it a light shake.
- Leave it standing or hanging somewhere well ventilated for 1–2 days.
- A slightly damp cloth can also wipe the surface.
- After a few days the smell normally goes away completely.
