Description

This turbo whistle sits inside the tip of your exhaust pipe and uses the flow of exhaust gas to produce a note that rises and falls with the throttle, close to the sound of a turbocharged engine. It is a sound accessory rather than a performance part: it does not change power, fuel consumption or engine mapping, and nothing about the way the car drives is altered by fitting one.

Fitting takes a couple of minutes and needs no tools. Choose the size that matches your tailpipe diameter, slide the whistle into the pipe until it seats, and secure it so it cannot rattle loose. The body is shaped to grip the inside of the pipe without scratching the finish or denting the tip, and it lifts straight back out again if you ever want the car returned to standard.

The note grows louder as engine speed rises, so it is most obvious under acceleration and near silent at idle. Sizes cover most sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs and ATVs.
