Wood Chess Board with Cartoon Chess Pieces, Wooden Chess Set, Strategy Board Game
-
Screen time turns into family time: this chess set gets kids and parents playing together instead of watching a screen
-
Learning chess stops feeling scary: cartoon-style pieces make each move easy to recognize for a first-time player
-
Sharper thinking, one game at a time: planning ahead and weighing a move builds patience and smart decision-making
-
New players are never lost: the simple, step-by-step layout walks a beginner through the rules from the first game
-
Pieces built to survive real play: solid wood construction holds up to being picked up, moved and dropped again and again
A first chess set can feel like a lot to take in, especially when every piece looks the same to a beginner — the cartoon-style pieces on this wooden chess set give each side a face kids can tell apart at a glance, so the rules start making sense faster. The board and pieces are built from solid wood to handle regular play, not just a first afternoon.
As a strategy game for two, it works as well for a slow afternoon at home as it does for family board game night, and every set of wooden chess pieces packs away into its own storage bag between rounds. This 2 player board game is chess for beginners at heart — a childrens chess set and beginner chess set built to grow with a young player, and still a wooden board game the rest of the family will want to join.
